THE RIDERS

I am way down the list on the handicaps, which means it is going to be really, really hard to win, but I am going to ride really, really smart and hope to at least finish good.


Lee B is getting a lot of coverage for riding a 1946 Salsbury, but the only thing from 1946 is the body.  The real heroes in this thing, in my opinion, will be riders on the real vintage scooters and any scooter with less than 200 displacement.  Especially the people on the 50 and 60cc.  They are just looking for pain I think. But, as someone said, "any scooter for any reason entering is something to be proud of". Finishing as a winner is something to brag about.


The youngest rider is 23 and the oldest 79.  In fact there are 4 riders in their 70's and 4 in their 20's.  The largest  group is in their 40's.
