OK, now which scooter to take, Scoot or Big Red? Scoot is my favorite of the two scooters and with it's smaller engine, due to the points system, I would have a better chance of winning. Points are awarded based on time, size of engine, and age of scooter. Since both of mine are late models, there is no realistic chance of winning. The older scooters, the 1946 Salisbury or 1961 Sears Compact (whatever that is) have a better chance of winning. So, I will take Big Red with the 250CC engine. I still plan to compete and finish well, but do it with a little more comfort. Eight days on Red at 8 to 10 hours a day as opposed to 10 to 12 hours a day, after day, after day on Scoot.
The pink barbie scooter does not go with my new red jacket
The scoring handicap on this one would be great, but I think my butt would not make it
Which one?
Sorry Scoot. He looks a little sad being left behind. but do not fear, Scoot is the daily rider at home
Besides, Scoot gets to take my riding coach Jill around behind me. Jill has a brand new Vespa but it does not run and Vespa is not helping much to get it fixed under warranty.
